Chinese based mobile handset manufacturer Amoi is best know in the English speaking world for the Skype phone they developed for 3 network. Hutchinson Whampoa, the conglomerate behind 3, report that they have achieved 3 million UK subscribers since it’s launch 4 years ago.
Amoi also produce other products including LCD tvs, DVD players, laptops and MP3 players.
